About the event
The Design in Mind Lecture Series, the cornerstone of Charleston by Design's opening weekend, features four inspiring talks by leading experts in preservation and design. To end the first day of the series, we are thrilled to welcome two award-winning architects, Ben Pentreath and Peter Pennoyer. Winners of the 2023 and 2024 Richard R. Driehauz Prize, respectively, Ben and Peter will speak together to candidly share stories from their decades of experience collectively, and insight into their designs.
At the c.1809 Second Presbyterian Church, enjoy an afternoon lecture with two award-winning architects and leave inspired. As the opening weekend for The Charleston Festival, Charleston by Design highlights preservation inspired design and leaders in the industry.
